First off, I haven’t seen the original French series that the film is based on. Also, I’m a huge Fassbender fan, so you should take that into account. I just strongly disagree with that.
The film may be very mysterious and a bit vague at times, but it builds up and piqued my curiosity and interest. I thought the other lead actors played their roles very well so far. But that will obviously change based on the upcoming previews.
Smith is new to me, but I’m quite fond of her so far. You can feel that things are bubbling under the surface, so I’m looking forward to the next episodes.
