The story takes place in Utopian Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zauna. The story follows the origins of two iconic League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart. Watch the cast behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Ella Purnell in the film. Fortiche Productions created a music video titled "Get Jinxed" for Riot in 2013. It already has Jinx and the town of Piltover.
Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series that took them years to create. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce. A story between sisters, rich and poor, loyalty and betrayal, peace and war, and everything in between. It’s a common saying that LoL’s big budget was spent on animation instead of balancing champions, and that couldn’t be more true. After each episode, they found more ways to surprise the audience with amazing visuals and transitions. The fight scenes were tough and awesome, while the series didn’t quite live up to the original lore, it’s still an intense story that builds an interesting universe. I’m not going to lie, the first act didn’t blow me away too much, but then episode 4 had me completely hooked.
My only problem with the story was that I just couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted more and I hate waiting Just as cool as the animation were the characters. Many of the character dynamics fascinated me and made me realize how much I needed them. I will admit that some of the characters were simple, but not all were predictable. The walkthroughs for all the characters in general were incredible, even though the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was definitely love and a phenomenal step in the LOLCU setup.
