or screen production, especially an American one
Story
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler lands a high-profile job for which she is ill-suited, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.. Producers have convinced both the American and the American one; British governments to allow them to use real-life sets as filming locations for the series, including the still-recent US embassy (at Nine Elms) which opened in 2018. Britain allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely granted any movie.

The only location unavailable was Winfield House, the current residence of the US ambassador. Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot (11 acres) in London other than Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming.. The characters are phenomenally written and they are all an enigma to some degree.
It has a hint of sequence, but again not a true match
Their dialogue is fast-paced and engaging, and the story continues to evolve in chaotic political directions. I want to lightly compare it to House of Cards, but that just doesn’t fit. It felt similar to Night Agent but much better I see reviews complaining about the lead and her scruffy look and abrasive demeanor but that’s her thing!
She’s good at her job, so no one cares about her decor
“You want people in power who don’t *want* to be in power” Kate is focused on the mission and the cause at hand, where people’s lives are in the balance. What he wears, how he looks, and even when he sleeps all come second to the main mission. I thought her style suited the narrative perfectly and was a refreshing change of pace.
We really hope we see an s2
The best part of the show is the relationships they all have with each other. It’s rare that I like all the characters in a show, but this one did it for me.
