When all of this happened as a young adult, it…. what do the kids say?… it’s different. So it’s hard, rough and scary by default. The acting is top notch.
Every performance… it feels like you’re right there in the room watching this terrifying series of events unfold in real time. I don’t know how the cast managed it. It’s not something you can just pause and come back to.
You have to rewind or start the episode over. Overall, this is arguably the best portrayal of Dahmer. I would recommend watching "My Best Friend Dahmer" before watching, as it happens to serve as a prequel. Do not watch this if you are prone to vomiting.
