Set in the utopian Piltover and the oppressive underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart. Watch the actors behind some of your favorite animated series and films, including Ella Purnell in “Arcane.” Fortiche Productions made a music video titled “Get Jinxed” for Riot in 2013. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took several years to create.
After the first season was released, Riot announced that there will be a second season and that it will take less time to produce. Arcane: A Steampunk Sci-Fi/Fantasy Animated Series on Netflix. The cities of Piltover and Zaun are in turmoil, Piltover the upper city literally looks down on and oppresses Zaun. We have gangs of thieves, rebels, steampunk Stormtroopers, magic fused with science.
This is serious stuff with great physical strength and "magical" battles. Also the story of two sisters who argue and scientists/mages who fight against the conservatism of the Council who fear the unleashing of uncontrollable powers. Directed by Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord, written by Christian Linke and Alex Yee.
