An exhilarating physical journey that brings you close to the dark where it’s scary to look at. It appeals to the viewer’s civic responsibility and forces them to confront the limits of their solidarity. Hovik Keuchkerian’s character Zamyatin is named after Yevgeny Zamyatin (aka Yevgeny Zamyatin), a Russian naval engineer and writer most famous for his highly influential and widely imitated 1921 after the dystopian sci-fi novel Us, set in a futuristic police state. Next is Platform (2019). Aside from the production design, the cast, and some of the photography, it was unbelievably bad. They took themselves way too seriously, because how well was the allegory of capitalism received in the first, and what was the second about WHAT?? religion? legislation? community? A gasket? Revolutions? It’s an unnecessarily convoluted mess of a script that goes nowhere as either a prequel or a stand-alone film. So terrible that I shaved two stars off the first rating. The icing on the cake, a person who is dedicated to science leaves the job because something contradicts that science is basic high school knowledge. Even a hallucinatory language model wouldn’t script that. The final season of What We Do in the Shadows is one of the biggest TV and broadcast premieres of the month.
